SAVE PLANET EARTH..

Let's Save the Earth.....

Sorting and recycling, a simple gesture for the environment...
Recycling has two major ecological consequences:
-reduction of the volume of waste, and so the pollution they cause (some materials are decades or even centuries to degrade).
-preservation of natural resources, since the recycled material is used instead of that which we should extract.

Let's save the earth. . Please

Let's save the earth. . Please

The Times Of India : The Speaking Tree

Take some time to read, its worth reading , Please share after reading......

When things in your life seem almost too much to handle, when 24 hours in a day are not enough, remember the mayonnaise jar and the 2 Beers.

A professor stood before his philosophy class and had some items in front of him. When the class began, he wordlessly picked up a very large and empty mayonnaise jar and proceeded to fill it with golf balls. He then asked the students if the jar was full. They agreed that it was.

The professor then picked up a box of pebbles and poured them into the jar. He shook the jar lightly. The pebbles rolled into the open areas between the golf balls. He then asked the students again if the jar was full. They agreed it was.

The professor next picked up a box of sand and poured it into the jar. Of course, the sand filled up everything else. He asked once more if the jar was full.. The students responded with a unanimous 'yes.'

The professor then produced two Beers from under the table and poured the entire contents into the jar effectively filling the empty space between the sand. The students laughed..

'Now,' said the professor as the laughter subsided, 'I want you to recognize that this jar represents your life. The golf balls are the important things---your family, your children, your health, your friends and your favorite passions---and if everything else was lost and only they remained, your life would still be full. The pebbles are the other things that matter like your job, your house and your car.. The sand is everything else---the small stuff.

'If you put the sand into the jar first,' he continued, 'there is no room for the pebbles or the golf balls. The same goes for life.

If you spend all your time and energy on the small stuff you will never have room for the things that are important to you.

Pay attention to the things that are critical to your happiness.

Spend time with your children. Spend time with your parents. Visit with grandparents. Take your spouse out to dinner. Play another 18. There will always be time to clean the house and mow the lawn.

Take care of the golf balls first---the things that really matter. Set your priorities. The rest is just sand.

One of the students raised her hand and inquired what the Beer represented. The professor smiled and said, 'I'm glad you asked.' The Beer just shows you that no matter how full your life may seem, there's always room for a couple of Beers with a friend.

EARTH - One video you NEED to see

Why is environmental awareness so important now a days?

When was the last time you experienced a serious storm or how about seen firsthand the effect of typhoon or watched it on the television. As you may have noticed there have been many changes in the earth’s climate, this is evidenced by the fact of what is happening around us and all over the world.

Environmental Awareness Poster- Your Turn!
Environmental awareness is crucial at this point in history, since nature is trying to bring back the earth’s balance by taking back what man has claimed. Therefore, becoming aware of the reality is important and vital to our very survival. In case you do not know the more the environment becomes threatened by what we are all doing, the more we will experience many untoward abnormal weather conditions.

In the past 100 years or so there has been a steady increase in the amount of carbon dioxide released to the earth’s surface and this has caused our atmosphere to change dramatically. Climate change is caused by many reasons such as excess carbon dioxide that is linked to numerous man made activities.
The greenhouse effect can cause many changes in our climate such as the Earth’s polar caps melting and thus increase the ocean level, and subsequently flooding the nearby coastal cities or low lying regions. In fact, it has already happened in some countries i.e. places where an hour of rain caused major flooding and destroyed houses, crops and businesses.

Although, a large quantity of carbon dioxide will greatly benefit some plants, the effects on the lives of many people does not compensate to the positive effects. There are a lot of changes that could happen this is why it is important to have at least a knowledge or environmental awareness so as to know more about the impact of greenhouse effect to your future.

Caring for the environment will not require you to become an environmental activist, but just to know more about your environment. Think about the following first, if you know what is going to happen and the danger that your future grandchild will be faced with, would you not do anything now to prevent it from happening?
Even as an individual there is something that you can do no matter how small or insignificant it may seem. Planting trees, proper waste disposal or buying naturally formulated or green products is a good start. These small steps can be the start of a great importance of awareness in environment, so make sure that you be the first or among the many individuals that are taking care of the environment in anyway possible.

SAVE OUR EARTH.....

Take care of the earth and she will take care of you.

Our planet is in trouble! Almost every day we seem to hear of yet another problem affecting the environment - and what a list of problems! - pollution, acid rain, climate change, the destruction of rainforests and other wild habitats, the decline and extinction of thousands of species of animals and plants....and so on.

Nowadays, most of us know that these threats exist and that humans have caused them. Many of us are very worried about the future of our planet and unless we can find a way of solving the problems we have made then the environment will suffer even more.

It all sounds so sad - but we certainly mustn't despair! Every one of us, whatever age we are can do something to help slow down and reverse some of the damage. We cannot leave the problem-solving entirely to the experts - we all have a responsibility for our environment. We must learn to live in a sustainable way i.e. learn to use our natural resources which include air, freshwater, forests, wildlife, farmland and seas without damaging them. As populations grow and lifestyles change, we must keep the world in a good condition so that future generations will have the same natural resources that we have.

Be an environment friends... Go green.. Plant a Sapling... Save Power!

Let's save the Earth. . Please

Let's save the earth please..
you and me and all who cares..
share the love, respect and peace..
and you should know that all it needs..
is some caring and planting some trees..

We want to highlight the importance of the Green Mantra “REDUCE, REUSE, RECYCLE” to minimize the usage of all natural resources on Earth.
We invite you to join us in our event a grand success for together we can make our Environment a much more better and wholesome place for future generations as well as us.

Save Mother Nature

Green green green,
Where have you been?
Everything I look around,
I am concrete bound…
My eyes reach far and wide,
To find the greener side…
We are under the hot sun without aid,
I beg you for a tree’s shade…
Forests and jungles have disappeared,
We have arrived to the time we feared…
Our lives are filled with a huge denture,
Where we don’t have any nature…
We need to rise and act,
From fiction, nature to be a fact…
Strive, sacrifice and save her,
For all of us, nature is our mother…
“Earth provides enough to satisfy every man's needs, but not every man's greed.”
